Demodex and seawater?

Demodex is a mite that lives in hair follicles and eats the hair, causing severe hair loss and sores. Putting salt on a sore is very uncomfortable for her, and probably makes it much itchier than it already is. If she needs to swim, find a fresh water supply for her to swim in, and get her Demodex treated by a veterinarian immediately.
