When do raw bones (for dogs) go bad/rotten?

how many days can my rotty chew on her femur bone? i got a huge raw one for her about 5 days ago , she still chews it & loves it, but im nervous that the bone might rot (or go off) & she could get sick? how many days are the bones good for?
