How long should i wait to go in a backyard pool after getting a tattoo?

I got a tattoo on my foot(it's all black) last Monday,so tomorrow it'll be a week and 4 days since the I got the tattoo,it is not scabbing at all or peeling,is it ok to go swimming in a pool in my backyard?(or with it covered in some kind of wrap?)
