How can I help my dog lose weight?

My dog Saidee is a bull dog, and very overweight. We feed her smaller portions, and I take her in my backyard where she plays and runs around with my younger dog for a while, then inside to cool off, out again to play longer, and then she comes inside and goes to bed normally. What else can I do to help her lose weight?
